OUR FOOD PROGRAM

Every day more than 4 million children get meals and snacks through USDA's Child and Adult Care Food Program (CACFP). Thanks to CACFP meal patterns we provide each child with a more fruit and vegetables so kids develop a taste for healthy food from the start. We start kids early with whole grains to provide them with vitamins, minerals, and fibers. We also limit sugar in yogurts and cereals, and do not count any cookies, cakes, or other grain based dessert toward their grain requirement. We give the child the opportunity to try and like new and healthier foods.
